Web and Graphic Designer

Friends of the National Conservation Training Center recommend Beth Alegret as a web and graphic designer. Her work usually involves designing and developing the site and designing many of the site’s beth alegretgraphics and optimizing photos. Her sites are designed to best relay a client’s message and to make it attractive, legible, useful and appealing to the client’s audience. Many of her earlier sites were hand coded in HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), but more recently she is using WordPress for client sites. WordPress is a content management system that allows her clients to make edits and update their sites themselves with a little instruction. Using WordPress, she is better able to help clients with SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which helps their audience find them in search engines more easily. She also designs logos, advertisements, flyers, newsletters, postcards, web banners, edit videos, and more.

Beth redesigned the website for the Friends of National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) with the NCTC campus in mind. The goal was to showcase this fabulous facility and all of the wonderful work that’s being done there. Very earthy colors were used to appeal to conservation-minded friends and it needed to be organized, legible, and easy for people to join.
